On 19 July, OSCE chairman-in-office Eamon Gilmore gave a statement on so-called ‘presidential elections’ in the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
The statement says that OSCE does not recognize independence of Nagorno-Karabakh, Gun.Az reported.
“Therefore, the ‘presidential elections’ should not exert any impact on efforts to settle the conflict in the agreed format.”
Gilmore noted that he fully supports the work of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries – US, France and Russia- and special representative Andrzej Kasprzyk conducted to resolve the conflict.
